Durante el confinamiento por la pandemia el ornato dejó (temporalmente) de ser prioridad y las dejamos ser, estar, crecer. Únicamente durante el lapso de tiempo que duró la pandemia (semáforo rojo y amarillo) tuve la oportunidad de (re) presentar las plantas espontáneas de Quito. Éstas plantas, que tan pronto se restableció la escala de valor dominante fueron exterminadas por el hecho de crecer espontáneamente, es decir ser gratuitas.
Ghre es una serie/instalación de 76 cianotipias que se cuestiona sobre vivir en un mundo en el que se perdió la capacidad de distinguir precio de valor..

During lockdown due to the pandemic, city green areas maintainance (temporarily) ceased to be a priority and we let them be, develope and grow. Only during that time gap the pandemic lasted I had the chance to re-present the spontaneous plants of Quito. These plants, that as soon as the dominant value scale was restored, we continue exterminate them for the fact of growing spontaneously, being free, and for free.
Ghre is a serie-installation of 76 blueprints that questions living in a society that has lost the ability to distinguish price from value.
